In close cooperation with its partners, Q-Leap is proud to introduce its new family of QlusZio software-defined storage appliances. QlusZio systems are turn-key storage clusters built using Qlustar DataStack components on top of certified hardware from our partners. They are the perfect building block for scalable, performant and highly-available clustered storage. Offering the choice to run parallel filesystems like BeeGFS and Lustre, block storage...
Boston Limited, a leading UK-based manufacturer of high-performance, low-power server, storage and clustered solutions, today announces a new partnership with Q-Leap Networks, the creator of the cluster OS Qlustar, to offer scalable out-of-the-box HPC, storage and cloud cluster solutions to their customers that are easy to deploy and operate. Boston's state-of-the-art hardware components combined with the management capabilities of Qlustar will deliver powerful ready-to-run cluster systems ...
The Debian Med Sprint Weekend 2014 was hosted in Stonehaven near Aberdeen. The meeting was mainly about hacking on Bioinformatics software that is of interest to the DebianMed community. The attendants worked in groups toward specific goals and a lot of progress was made in improving existing and adding new software packages.
The HPC Advisory Council’s mission is to bridge the gap between high-performance computing (HPC) use and its potential, bring the beneficial capabilities of HPC to new users for better research, education, innovation and product manufacturing, bring users the expertise needed to operate HPC systems, provide application designers with the tools needed to enable parallel computing, and to strengthen the qualification...
Q-Leap Networks announces the launch of the global Qlustar partner program and encourages
applications by companies, universities or non-profit organizations that are active in the HPC
or related fields. In the following we will answer the most relevant questions about the
What is the purpose of the program?
The goal of the partner program is to establish a Qlustar eco-system that will have benefits
for all participants. By addressing most aspects and phases in the life-cycle of a cluster
system (implementation, testing, application tuning, maintenance), we aim to make Qlustar
clusters a standardized solution...
The second Student Cluster Competition at ISC'13 was a real fun event. Organized by the HPC Advisory Council, 8 teams from all over the world competed in a race to achieve the highest performance for a number of HPC codes given a strict power limit for the HPC hardware involved. In a very close finish, the overall winner was the South African team, which was a big surprise to most.
Thanks for visiting our booth at the ISC 2016 conference in Frankfurt, where we showcased the latest Qlustar 9.1 release together with our brand-new QlusZio software defined storage appliance.
Demos of the new QluMan features and Qlustar's upcoming OStack, Ceph and Hadoop modules were in strong demand, underlining how Qlustar has turned into a powerful all-in-one cluster solution. Looking forward to see you at one of the forthcoming conferences!
